Redemption Song

In season two, Sawyer sang "Redemption Song" while he and Michael drifted on the broken raft. Josh Holloway doesn't have such a bad voice. He should sing more.

I received an email asking what the "Redemption Song" is. It's an old Bob Marley tune. A lot of Marley's songs take the attitude of how the past was bad, but we'll move on and make something of ourselves. A lesson Sawyer would do well to heed.

Not that Sawyer couldn't stand a bit of redemption... but of all the Lostaways, Eko was the one most clearly trying to make up for a misspent life- and you saw what happened to him!

It's all salvation and enlightenment until a thread of black smoke shows up...

Heh, the black smoke throws a wrench in any logical system I can come up with. I wonder if Eko died because he didn't repent of his misdeeds, he only tried to cancel them out with his good works.
