Nathan Fillion is too cool
If I get my Christmas wish, Nathan Fillion will be a regular on Lost. I have no idea how they'll fit him into the storyline--maybe he works for Penelope Widmore, who will soon find the island, and he can land the Firefly-class ship and rescue his one true love, Kate/Monica, who has hooked up with Sawyer/James. Yeah, we need a new love triangle on Lost.
ETA (17 Dec 2006) Nathan Fillion will be a main character in the upcoming Fox TV series "Drive". It's about an underground race across the US, which makes me think of "Cannonball Run" or "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World", but I don't know enough about the plot to really say. Sooooo, I guess that means he's not going to be on Lost as a regular...

I've seen Serenity, but haven't yet watched the Firefly series. The DVD is sitting on my bedside table waiting patiently.

I follow Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Life on Mars (if it comes back next season). I guess I go mostly for sf series, but Meerkat Manor is too good to miss.

Meerkat Manor is a study of real meerkats in the wild, but it ends up like a soap opera with all the politics and battles between rival meerkat clans and so forth. Quite gripping.
