(Gameloft, $5.99-$7.99, out this week for carriers including Verizon, Cingular, Sprint and T-Mobile)

In between episodes of the ABC television show, fans can now get Lost on their cellphones, too. Adapted to the super-small screen with the help of the series' creators, the game features all the major characters, including Sawyer, Kate, Sayid and Hurley, but you play as Jack (Matthew Fox). "He's the problem solver and mediator," says Gameloft's Sanette Chao. After your initial response to the plane crash, you get to explore the jungle and the Hatch, and meet The Others.

of the castaways with force and elan peppered with wishy-washy insecurity--a very effective combination for a character as complex as Jack.

Fox turned forty last year on July 14. After growing up in Pennsylvania, where his parents raised longhorn cattle and horses, he went to school at Deerfield Academy, then Columbia University. Originally, he intended to work on Wall Street, but tried modeling on the advice of a girlfriend's mother

What To Do With Those Gift Certificates

December 27th 2006 09:09
So, your stocking was stuffed with gift certificates? So was mine. I never know what to get myself, but this year, I have some ideas.

Four puzzles related to the Lost mysteries: the Others, the Hatch, the Numbers, and the fourth as yet unreleased one. I'm told that each puzzle reveals a secret about the subject of the puzzle. Flipping them over, placing them next to each other, and turning on that black light you keep for just such occasions, reveals the blast door map with extra goodies on it

In the Honolulu Advertiser yesterday, Naveen Andrews (Sayid) talked about his lack of screen time this season on Lost. He said that many cast members are upset about the same thing.

Surely it's not all that bad. In his summers Andrews works on movies, so he's not falling out of the public eye. He's in two upcoming movies, "Grindhouse" and "The Brave One", both of which will be released next year

Watch Lost Online

December 15th 2006 11:22
The first six episodes of season three are available online on the ABC web site. The commercials are limited, but plan on spending about 45 minutes to watch it straight through. I'm told the web site can recognize your location and I'm not sure what the geographic limitations are on watching it free. Viewers sitting in the United States are able to watch.
