The Latest on Lost from ABC
January 12th 2007 03:53
ABC has posted some issues the flight 815 survivors will have to deal with in the second half of the season. Here's an excerpt. Be warned--some of what they say count as spoilers. The original is found here. There's quite a bit more in the article if you're interested.
*** Spoiler ***
Soooo, Jack might have a hidden agenda. What could that be?
Apparently, Kate made her choice, but not really. I'm rolling my eyes at that one. I mean, they did stuff, you know, in the cage and all. How can that not be a choice? But I'm not a Jater or a Skater. It probably matters more to those of you who are.
Can't wait to find out what Juliet does. I have a guess, but we'll see.
Somebody will finally notice that Locke is short-sighted and selfish. I'm rolling my eyes at that one. Although, I suppose they've only been there two and a half months. I probably wouldn't have paid much attention to Locke in that time, either. You know, except for when Boone died. And when they found out Locke hadn't told anyone about the hatch. Or when he blew up the hatch. (The only shower!) It will provide an excellent source of conflict among the Losties.
I've already said why the baby can't be anyone's but Jin's.
Desmond's revelation to Charlie is supposed to come in the eighth or ninth episode.
My favorite part is the last. I want Desmond and Penny to reunite. That's one love angle I could get into.

As the second part of Season Three opens, Jack seems to have gained the upper hand, as Bens life literally rests in his hands. His demands are simple release Kate and Sawyer as prisoners of The Others, let them safely return to the island and hell stay behind. But does Jack have a hidden agenda? Kate finally made her romantic decision between Jack and Sawyer by choosing the smitten con man but were her feelings for him genuine? Juliet one of The Others -- makes a shocking decision that could endanger her standing with her people. After the death of Eko, Lockes obsession to uncover the secrets of the island leads Sayid to believe that his intentions may not be in the best interests of his fellow survivors. Sun and Jin will continue to celebrate their pregnancy but is the child really Jins? Just as Charlie returns into the good graces of Claire and her baby, Aaron, Desmond drops a bombshell on him that could change the course of his life forever. After the hatch imploded and the electromagnetic charge was expelled, questions arise as to what effects it had on the island as well as the outside world. Will Penny Widmore find the island and her long, lost love, Desmond, and can the survivors find a way to interact with the outside world?

Passionate Apathy
Kate and Sawyer have recently been under hideous duress; let's wait and see what happens once they're no longer being abused for slave labor and under constant threat of death.
Locke's agenda is probably the most straightforward: They're stuck on the island; knowing about your environment has a higher survival value than ignorance. Hopefully once he corners the smoke-whatever he won;t be as impulsive as when he blew up the Hatch.

Day Break TV
I laughed at first at the idea of baby Aaron scheming, but it's not that far-fetched. He probably has those Walt-powers as hinted by the book club reading Carrie.
Locke is so easy to manipulate. I think he will be the biggest problem for the Losties. He's sort of like Dr. Smith in the old Lost in Space.
Things are going to happen on Feb 7th. I'm sure that episode will be action-packed.
