Further Instructions Tonight on Lost
October 18th 2006 17:39
*** Spoiler ***
Today I'll just start with the spoiler tag. All the information I have in this post has been gleaned from previews and ads on television, as well as the TiVo summary.
In tonight's episode, "Further Instructions", the backstory will focus on Locke. We won't learn why he was in the wheelchair, but I'm sure we'll learn plenty. Maybe even more about Helen.
TiVo says: After the hatch implodes, the group learns of Locke, Eko and Desmond's fate.
So we'll finally return to the beach to find out what the rest of the flight 815 survivors have been up to.
From the previews immediately following last week's episode, we know (or we think we know) that they all survived. In the Lost podcast, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were definite in that we would not know how they survived.
Locke will have some sort of weird dream sequence with Boone. Check out Aaron's post if you haven't seen that one. My guess is that following that dream, Locke will strike out on his own to rescue someone, perhaps Mr. Eko, but perhaps Mr. Eko will come with him and they will both go to rescue Jack, Kate, and Sawyer.
It will be interesting to find out what Locke is doing with his makeshift flamethrower.
I suppose the Further Instructions in the title refers to Locke's message-dream, although I rather hope we get further instructions from the Dharma Initiative, too.
I'm ready for this episode. I expect it to be one of the best of these first six, possibly second to the sixth one.

But, yeah I'm really stoked for tonight's episode. I seriously can't wait to see what Locke is going to do. As you know Adele Locke is my favorite character. I am a little dissappointed that we wont find out why he was in the wheelchair just yet, but we will find out this season, so I'm waiting patiently for that too.
Well, good luck, I hope tonight's episode thrills us both.
Aaron.

It's a good episode so far. Maybe Locke will redeem himself, but it's not looking good with that Eddie character.
