Sneak Peek Seven

December 30th 2006 22:09
Here is the seventh sneak peek for Lost. I don't think anything in this one will surprise anyone.

What To Do With Those Gift Certificates

December 27th 2006 09:09
So, your stocking was stuffed with gift certificates? So was mine. I never know what to get myself, but this year, I have some ideas.

Four puzzles related to the Lost mysteries: the Others, the Hatch, the Numbers, and the fourth as yet unreleased one. I'm told that each puzzle reveals a secret about the subject of the puzzle. Flipping them over, placing them next to each other, and turning on that black light you keep for just such occasions, reveals the blast door map with extra goodies on it.

Of course, if you're a Lost fanatic like me, you probably already have these, but here they are anyway, the complete collection of episodes from seasons one and two.

How about a calendar to keep track of when Lost is on?

Sneak Peek Six

December 24th 2006 04:38
Lost's sneak peek six apparently aired during Gray's Anatomy this week, which I don't watch, so it took me a while to realize it was online. This is the first sneak peek to veer from the Desmond storyline. It's a spoiler for those of you who avoid previews. It starts out with something everyone expects to happen in February, but ends with something maybe not quite so expected.

Evangeline Lilly's House Burns Down

December 20th 2006 23:53
The house belonging to Evangeline Lilly burned down this morning before 7am. 684 Iana Street in Kailua doesn't look too good, but it may not be a total loss. Conflicting reports indicate that either no one was home at the time or that three people got out before the fire trucks arrived. No one was hurt.

Iana street was shut down this morning while firefighters put out the fire

Was Nathan an Other?

December 19th 2006 18:50
Josh Randall plays Nathan on Lost
Josh Randall plays Nathan on Lost
Every so often, I receive a question about whether Nathan was an Other. Nathan was only in one episode, "The Other 48 Days", in season two. He was the one the tail section survivors put in the pit. Ana-Lucia said he came out of the jungle dry right after the plane crash and he spent hours alone in the jungle. Cindy (stewardess) couldn't remember seeing him on flight 815. Bernard and Libby thought he seemed suspicious. Eko was in his forty days of repentance and couldn't speak.

Goodwin, who really was an Other, said nothing. To me, this says a lot about the Others and the way they operate. He could have used that moment to sow more suspicion in that very paranoid group, but he didn't. He let them come to their own conclusions. He watched and observed

December 17th 2006 21:57
Lost got two nominations for the 2007 Golden Globes this year. One is in the category of Best TV Drama Series. The other goes to Evangeline Lilly for her work in Lost in the category of Best Actress in a Drama Series.

In the Honolulu Advertiser yesterday, Naveen Andrews (Sayid) talked about his lack of screen time this season on Lost. He said that many cast members are upset about the same thing.

Surely it's not all that bad. In his summers Andrews works on movies, so he's not falling out of the public eye. He's in two upcoming movies, "Grindhouse" and "The Brave One", both of which will be released next year

Watch Lost Online

December 15th 2006 11:22
The first six episodes of season three are available online on the ABC web site. The commercials are limited, but plan on spending about 45 minutes to watch it straight through. I'm told the web site can recognize your location and I'm not sure what the geographic limitations are on watching it free. Viewers sitting in the United States are able to watch.

Here's a Lost video I can't believe I forgot to post: "The Sawyer Song" by JW Yang and Cordelia Yang on Albino Blacksheep. This video is great and one of my favorites. Have your speakers on.

The Gospel of John

December 12th 2006 23:22
To feed all those theorists equating Desmond with Jesus or a messiah figure, here is a clip from another film Henry Ian Cusick (the actor who plays Desmond) starred in. The Gospel of John was filmed in 2003 as part of a three-volume Visual Bible series. Acts and Matthew were the other two.

Henry Ian Cusick plays Jesus and is familiar to Lost viewers with his beard, long hair, and robes (or tie-dyed shirt, as the case may be

More Backstory Information

December 12th 2006 03:23
I don't spend much time on Ask Ausiello, mainly because I did in the first season of Lost and he was wrong (about what? I don't remember.) So here I am repeating what he is saying.

In his column of 22 Nov 2006, he had some information on an upcoming backstory

Upcoming Backstories

December 11th 2006 09:30
Everything Michael Ausiello says is a spoiler, and this post is composed entirely of two pieces of information from him. Keep in mind that spoilers, even from Ask Ausiello, are often misleading. Sometimes they are even wrong. Nevertheless, here it is:

At last, here is sneak peek four, which played during Day Break last night.

Desmond is on a roll with these. I wonder if they will all play out in the February 7th episode, "Not In Portland

Jeff Jensen Has a Crazy Theory

December 7th 2006 16:14
Jeff Jensen has a crazy theory about who Jacob might be. It's not what it looks like at first. The post over at EW wanders through several ideas before it returns to Jacob. I say, no way.

One thing Jeff Jensen seems to have forgotten is that Desmond's full name is Desmond David Hume. No maybe about it. We found that out in the second season in "Live Together, Die Alone" (the finale).

Lost Changes to New Time Slot

December 6th 2006 17:06
In February, when Lost comes back from hiatus, it will change to a new time slot. It's going to be shown an hour later. That's probably a good thing, since it means younger kids will be in bed. ABC has a set of new comedies they want to air during the current Lost hour, perhaps hoping to scoop up some of Lost's 17 million viewers.

The source has a few semi-spoilers in it, so be careful if you click

Yun Jin Kim on Lost
Sun
This morning's Honolulu Advertiser has an interview with Yun Jin Kim (plays Sun on Lost). She talks about Lost, her acting career in Korea, and the Honolulu Marathon. There's a mini-spoiler in the question and answer immediately following the one about Sun's "baby-daddy". (I hate that word! Use an apostrophe-s for possession!) Just hold your thumb over it and read on. The rest of the article is interesting.
